Parrot Bird Sanctuary

City Bird Sanctuary Chandigarh, or Parrot Bird Sanctuary, is a bird sanctuary situated in Sector 21 of Chandigarh. It is primarily the habitat of parrots — hundreds of them live here and fly in flocks in the morning and evening. There are two parks adjoining this sanctuary where flocks of parrots also sit on the trees. It is the second wildlife sanctuary of Chandigarh. Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary near Sukhna Lake is the other. It is notified under Section 18 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
